You can continue to use your normal products, such as styling gels, conditioners, mousses, etc. Or, better yet, heat protecting products specially formulated for blow outs and straightening. With the Wet & Dry straightener, you can style both dry or damp hair.

Always start with the hair underneath: work first from the base, moving on to the sides and finishing in the front.

Avoid choppy motions whilst styling; straighten each section once, in one smooth, continuous movement. Repeat as necessary.

To unlock the straightener, press continuously on the + button or the – button.

After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre

In a very humid environment, it's possible that although you can't see the steam it's still producing the required effect.

Check that your straightener is not in economy energy mode.
Check that you've plugged your straightener in and firmly pressed the ON/OFF button to switch it on.

Bring your straightener to an approved service centre.

Check whether you've been using your straightener in the right direction (refer to user's manual).
Check whether you've selected the right temperature (refer to user's manual).
Check that your straightener is producing steam.

Check that you've filled the reservoir correctly. If the level is lower than the minimum level, fill the reservoir and close the tongs for around 90 seconds until the steam comes out.
Check that your straightener is at the right temperature. Wait until the figure representing the temperature you've chosen stops flashing.
Check that the steam cord isn't stuck.

Unplug it immediately and take it to an approved service centre.

A Class I appliance must be earthed (and has only one insulation layer). A Class II appliance does not necessarily have to be earthed because it has two distinct and independent insulation layers.

• Short or layered hairstyle, or thin and fragile hair: straightener with narrow or normal plates.
