FAQ
Only the board of Rowenta IXEO is adjustable in height and tilt so that you can steam horizontally or vertically (refer to user guide to see how).
For others, the board can only be used for vertical steaming.
Note: refer to your product’s user manual for more details.
Only the steamer from Rowenta IXEO can be detached from the board. Very convenient to steam things around the house like curtains or sheets. For all others full-size steamers, the steamer is attached and cannot be separated from the board.
All Rowenta Full-Size steamers, except for Rowenta Home Steam, can be collapsed to a smaller height to be easily stored in a closet or other. Refer to user manual of your product to see how.
Note: Do not use any descaling substances (vinegar, industrial descaling products, etc.) to descale your steamer, they could damage it.
To extend the life of your product, all Rowenta Full-Size steamers (except for Rowenta IXEO) come with an anti-scale draining system. Refer to user manual for detailed descaling process.
Your product is not plugged in or is not switched on ==> Check that your product is properly connected to a power socket and that the switch is on "I".
The water level in the tank is too low ==> Unplug the appliance and fill the tank.
The pump is unprimed ==>Press and hold the steam button for a few seconds to prime the pump.
The removable tank is not installed correctly ==> Check the correct positioning of the tank on the product.
The product is in "Stand-by" mode ==> Press the "On-Off" button and wait until it stops flashing.
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.
