You can continue to use your normal products, such as styling gels, conditioners, mousses, etc. Or, better yet, heat protecting products specially formulated for blow outs and straightening. However, never use your straightener if you have applied a hair relaxer, as it could severely damage your hair.
With a classic straightener, no. After shampooing, condition as needed. Use a hair dryer until almost completely dry.
With the Wet & Dry straightener, you can style both dry or damp hair.
Always start with the hair underneath: work first from the base, moving on to the sides and finishing in the front.
Avoid choppy motions whilst styling; straighten each section once, in one smooth, continuous movement. Repeat as necessary.
You're probably in locked mode (a padlock will be showing on the screen).
To unlock the straightener, press continuously on the + button or the – button.
The resin is worn out, you need to change it.
If your water is of medium hardness you should be able to use the new cartridge for 6 months.
The resin is made from polystyrene and can be thrown out with the other household waste when the cartridge is worn out.
Here's how to fit the cartridge:
• Take the cartridge out of its sachet
• Remove the red protective seal on the top of the cartridge
• Remove the lid of the reservoir by unclipping it completely
• Slot the cartridge into place
• Replace the lid of the reservoir by clipping it back on. You will hear a click sound.

This is quite normal, the straightening iron is fitted with a mobile plate so as to aid more efficient smoothing.
If it's blue, then your cartridge is worn out. You need to change it.
If it's yellow, then your cartridge has dried out. You need to moisten it again by refilling the reservoir.
